Nice condition. Needs cleaning and the prop and skeg from the bottom unit is not connected, see pictures.
Brand:Mighty Mite Stroke:2-Stroke Engine(HP):2

Up for sale is my old Mighty Mite 2HP outboard boat motor.  It was running up until about 20 years ago and we put it into service and the service place said it needed something in the lower unit but they never fixed it.  I have no idea why they didn't fix it, I think it's because they just didn't want to work with an older motor.  They gave it back to us with the prop and lower unit disconnected.  I really have no idea what it might need or if it needs anything at all as maybe they had no idea what they were doing in the first place.
Engine turns fine when pulling the pull start.  Seems to have good compression also.  When pulling the start the prop shaft turns also so I know all that works good.  Seems like a simple fix and this would be up and running.
It's been sitting on my shelf in my warehouse for about 20 years and it's time to move it to gain some space.
It's worth way more than what I am starting it at but I want it gone (again I need the space) so good luck bidding!
Nice little project motor for someone, local pick up only.  If you have a courier pick this up for shipping I will secure the bottom unit and prop but I do not offer packaging services, it will go as it is.

Thanks for looking.

Most of the students were asked to envision a vehicle for use in the year 2030 in a studio course sponsored by General Motors; a brief which asked students to push the design potential of the Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra pickup truck or the Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon SUVs. Two graduating students also presented their visions for the automotive future, using the Volkswagen and Saturn brands as their launching pad.

Hennessey Venom GT hits 265.7 mph

Making a car go fast isn't rocket science: You add power and subtract weight. So if money were no object, you might take one of the lightest cars you could find and shove in one of the most powerful production engines on the planet. The result might look a lot like the Hennessey Venom GT.
