MILLER MID-LIFT NASCAR SB2 BILLET STAND MOUNT (SHAFT) SYSTEM; 1.90:1 Ratio.

This is without a doubt, the finest Roller Rocker System money can buy for the SB2 Cylinder head. Original price was over $4,000, and discounted Engine Builder pricing to NASCAR teams was over $2,800 in 2000, when these were made. These rockers are no longer made, but are available in limited quantity at the MID-LIFT.com web site; which still supports individual bodies and stands.

The photos speak for themselves; but in addition, these are made from solid billet, Alcoa 7150-T7, 93,000 psi tensile aluminum; and have been fully machined to lighten every possible gram of wasted material away, making these the lowest moment of inertia rocker possible. They incorporate Miller's trademark Torrington needle thrust bearings and flat washers used on all his high end systems. The shafts are 5/8" 8620 with TWO 3/8" (not 5/16") ARP studs and 12-point nuts. The bearings TORRINGTON "full compliment" 7/8", with direct center oiling. The stands are billet 7075-T6. They come complete (less ARP 7/16-14" Flywheel Bolt Mounting).

These are a $3,200+ system for nearly half price. They will NOT break, they will not last "only one year," they will endure the engine, several times over; while providing reliable 9,000+ RPM under the most severe spring and cam loads. JESEL, T&D, CROWER and any other brands have NOTHING that compares in GEOMETRY, MATERIALS, PRECISION, INNOVATION, STRENGTH and ENGINEERING. This is Jim Miller's SIGNATURE SERIES. The best of the best. We have ONE set left. When it's gone, it's gone!

NOTE: THESE REQUIRE A DEDICATE CAM PROFILE FOR THEIR 1.90:1 RATIO.

USPS Express SHIPPING is included in the price, anywhere in the Continental U.S. (International is not shown, but can be arranged upon request -- we have shipped to New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South America, U.K., France, Italy and Germany.)

Ferrari FF: Geneva FF debut and first FF interiors

Tue, 01 Mar 2011

The Ferrari FF takes a bow at Geneva - in white We’ve had plenty to say about the Ferrari FF, Ferrari’s controversially-styled replacement for the 612 Scaglietti. The jury seems to be out on its design, with as many dissenters of the new Ferrari direction as applauders. But you can count us impressed, even more so now the FF has hit the floor in Geneva.

Art installation moves 100,000 toy cars an hour

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

IT'S NO PICASSO, but this installation by conceptual artist Chris Burden certainly has the potential to be moving. Called Metropolis II, this amazing construction took Chris and his chief engineer four years to design and create and expands significantly on Metropolis I - the latest version has 18 roadways including one six-lane carriageway. It also has a rail network with HO-scale model trains, and running at capacity it pumps 100,000 cars around its network at a scale speed of 230mph.

Aston Martin Rapide coming home

Tue, 07 Jun 2011

Aston Martin Rapide - homeward bound It took Aston Martin what seemed like forever to get their four-door supercar – the Aston Martin Rapide – in to production, and even then they didn’t build it themselves. When they were busy planning production of the Rapide the world’s economy was buoyant, credit was a piece of cake and Aston Martins were flying out of the showroom. But the new economic reality bit in 2008 and sales fell at Aston Martin, but by then the plan to get the Rapide built at Magna Steyr in Austria was unstoppable so, despite Aston Martin workers twiddling their thumbs as Magna Steyr built Rapides, there as nothing to be done.
