This is a brand new MSD 85561 Chevy V8 w/Slip Collar Distributor. If you have a slightly taller block or have decked the heads, the distance between the distributor mounting pad and the cam gear/oil pump drive may be different. MSD offers this Distributor with an adjustable slip collar with 1.5” of adjustment so you can be sure the distributor is installed correctly. The distributor shares the same features of the standard Pro-Billet Chevrolet model including a ball bearing guide, long sintered lower bushing and an oil seal. To trigger the MSD Ignition a maintenance-free magnetic pick-up is secured in the billet base of the distributor. Just above this pick-up assembly is an adjustable mechanical advance assembly. This strong, billet aluminum distributor is set up for engines that run locked-out timing or an MSD Timing Computer. With no advance assembly, the rotor plate is welded directly to the oversized shaft. A sealed ball bearing guides the top of the shaft while an extra long sintered bushing stabilizes the lower portion. Trigger signals are produced via a high-output magnetic pick-up. This pickup is extremely accurate and never requires adjustment. With an adjustable slip collar for modified blocks, heads or intake manifolds. Ferrari 458 Italia – The Video
Wed, 29 Jul 2009The Interior of the new Ferrari 458 Italia But yesterday afternoon, shortly after we posted the news of the Ferrari 458 Italia – which originally had just four exterior pictures – we got sent a video of the interior. To be truthful it is almost certainly a rendering with no real car at all, but it is from Ferrari and is close as we’re going to get to the interior – or anything that moves – this side of the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. At least the video clip has a sound track, and whether or not it’s a real soundtrack from the track and the car – or something Ferrari has generated on their laptops – we don’t really care.
