This is a new MSD 8680 Adjustable Timing Control. Description: The MSD Adjustable Timing Control puts you in control of your ignition timing from the driver’s seat! A dash-mounted control knob allows you to adjust the ignition timing to compensate for changes in altitude, low octane gas, or heavy loads. For cars driven every day but raced occasionally on the weekends, this control is perfect. Increased fuel mileage and performance are just some of the benefits as the ignition timing can be advanced or retarded to prevent engine detonation. Features: Additional Benefits: The control knob mounts to the dash board for easy and accurate timing adjustments up to 15°. Ohio driver survives high-speed crash
Thu, 26 Aug 2010WITH VIDEO -- A 19-year-old Ohio man is hospitalized in serious condition, three days after his car went airborne in the median of Interstate 675 near Dayton and crashed into the concrete center support of a bridge. The crash demolished the car, a Pontiac Firebird. The driver, Brennan Eden, was thrown from the car during the crash.
Porsche reports big drop in sales
Fri, 30 Jan 2009Well, it’s not exactly a surprise, given the doom and gloom in the industry at the moment, but Porsche has just reported a 27% drop in sales, down to 34,000 units, over the last six months. As you would expect, some models fared worse than others. The recently updated Porsche 911, which has had mid-cycle tweaks including the new PDK ‘box, held up pretty well.
Ford's Mulally gets warm reception at CES

That's partly because Ford is saving details about the car for next week' Detroit auto show, and partly because range anxiety figures to be a major reason for all but the most committed customers to avoid electric vehicles like the Ford Focus electric. Mulally managed to avoid using the term, but said Ford is confronting range anxiety head-on.
