Peugeot keep interest in the 208 GTi with a promo video With the Peugeot 208 GTi due to debut at Geneva next week as a concept, Peugeot release theĀ firstĀ promo video. There are high hopes for the new Peugeot 208 GTi, with Peugeot desperately hoping a performance halo for the 208 range will evoke memories of the terrific 205 GTi and filter down in to much bigger sales for more prosaic 208s. So to keep interest in the public debut of the 208 GTi next week, Peugeot has been busy cobbling together a promo video to show the new GTi blatting around – in and out of focus – so we don’t have chance to forget the 208 GTI is on its way.

Honda showcases self-driving car

HONDA has shared its vision of the hands-free commute, a car that can safely drive itself on the road while the driver's hands are off the wheel. While the car is just a prototype, Honda says the technology could start appearing on Honda cars in 2020 and beyond. The prototype - an Acura RLX sedan - has cameras that monitor lane marking and multiple radar sensors on the front and sides.

First Sight: BMW 3 Series

With the 7 Series of 2001, Z4 of 2002, X3, 5 and 6 Series of 2003, and 1 Series earlier this year, the current E46 3 Series is the last (X5 excepted) 'old school' BMW in production. These first official pictures show BMW's fifth generation E90 3 Series which replaces this car and completes the new design strategy for the main series BMW range under Design Director Chris Bangle. Now with a smaller sibling in the range, the 3 Series is no longer BMW's entry level car although it shares much of its platform with the 1 Series and it is expected to continue to account for about half of BMW's total sales.
