For sale is a new set(2) of Mr. Gasket #7180 solid copper exhaust gaskets for Chrysler Hemi engines. This is a solid copper gasket that is .043 thick that will accomodate Top Fuel, Funny Car and Alcohol cars as well as the 8.2L Crate Hemi engine and others. Works great on Motor Home and Tow vehicles as well. This gasket opening is 2.54 wide and 2.05 high and has an o-ring design around the opening to seal exhaust. Brand New in skin sealed package. Ford drives the Peel P50 in to the new Transit – and turns it around
Tue, 06 May 2014The Peel P50 drives in to the new Ford Transit The new Ford Transit offers lots of room for ‘Stuff’, something Ford decided to demonstrate by enlisting the world’s smallest car to demonstrate. It may be simply a take on Jeremy Clarkson’s games with the Peel in and around the BBC Television Centre – and you don’t get John Humphries driving the Peel or Fiona Bruce (and her bottom) pushing it back out – but you do get a good idea of just how big the new Transit is. We’re not entirely sure that turning the Peel around in the Transit – and yes, this Peel is fitted with a reverse gear, unlike Clarkson’s – demonstrates the Transit is any bigger than just driving in and driving out would, but the endless faffing to achieve an about turn is an excuse to use some Benny Hill-esque music to pass the time.
Part-worn tyre sales under the microscope again
Wed, 04 Jun 2014SALES of part-worn tyres are about to hit the agenda again following a study from charity TyreSafe that found 98% of potentially dangerous part-worn tyres were being sold illegally. As a result the organisation has stepped up to take part in the forthcoming Trading Standards conference at the end of June, after a successful trial last year. Running for three days from 30th June at the Harrogate International Centre, the event is the biggest gathering of trading standards officers and enforcement professionals in the UK.
