Bentley promises '90% hybrid range by 2018'

By Ollie Kew Motor Industry 19 April 2014 17:07 Bentley will offer a plug-in hybrid version of 90% of the cars on its range as early as 2018, the company's CEO has confirmed. Speaking at the debut of the Mulsanne Hybrid Concept at the Beijing motor show, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber announced that a plug-in hybrid option was ‘the right choice for the future of Bentley’. He also confirmed that the first production-spec Bentley with a part-electric powertrain will be the marque's controversial new SUV.

2012 Lexus GS 250 debuts in China this week We’ve had the reveal of the 2012 Lexus GS 450h, and we’ve even reported on the US GS 350 and that the UK and Europe are to get an entry-level GS – the Lexus GS 250. But so far we’ve not had a proper reveal of the GS 250, just a bit of information and the assumption it’s a less powerful and less well-equipped version of the GS 450h. THERE'S not a lot that the two disciplines of circuit racing and applying make-up have in common, but Citroen and Benefit decided to change all that ahead of this weekend's Silverstone Grand Prix. The cheeky French car brand has introduced the third in its line-up of DS3 special edition models built using inspiration from the famous cosmetics label. This new DS3 DSign Noire, inspired by a new eyeliner from Benefit, took part in a unique 'Fast & Fabulous' race against its two designer siblings at the home of British Formula One, where racers and beauty bloggers had to complete a lap of the track in the DSign Noire, the DSign by Benefit and the Dstyle by Benefit.
