Up for No Reserve auction we have a NTO (New Take Off)Mercruiser
Alpha I Generation II Gimbal Housing Assembly. P/N: 43881A11
Serial number is OK127461 which dates it to around 1997. We
purchased an engine package, used the drive for one boat and the
engine for another. Parting out the transom components. The transom
came completely assembled, but none of these components have ever
seen water, only shelf scuffs and dust here.
The gimbal bearing, upper steering seal & both bushings, transom seal,
exhaust "Y" seal,through transom studs, and trim block studs, are
installed. Should fit 1992 to present Alpha applications
This part number supersedes to a complete transom assembly now,
$1900+. Last time it was available like this it cost $1065.

Hyundai to expand U.S. engine production

Hyundai Motor Co. will spend $173 million to expand its engine plant in Alabama to build more four-cylinder engines. The expansion work is set to be complete this fall and production is set to begin in March 2012.
