You are purchasing a very good used original equipment camshaft tower for the Mercedes Benz Engine 115:

220  1968-73,

230.4  1974-76,

230  1977-78.

This is in very good shape, no chips or cracks and the holes are round. The bearing surface is smooth. As always when changing cam parts, it will need to be aligned bored to fit your head.

Please check the casting number to make sure you have a match for your particular model.

Cast on the part R 115 051 08 12 along with the Mercedes logo.

2015 Land Rover Defender WON’T look like DC100 Concept

Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – has said the 2015 Land Rover Defender won’t look like the DC100 Concept. Most of the feedback Land Rover got was pretty positive, although there were comments from traditional Defender owners that the DC100 looked like a toy Defender and not the rugged icon they wanted. But it looks like those traditional buyers of the Land Rover Defender can stop panicking that their wheels of choice will be turned in to a style statement instead of a workhorse after Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – told CarAdvice that the 2015 Defender won’t look like the DC100 after all.

Spanish telecommunications firm Telefonica has issued its second annual report on connected car technologies. Its study looked at public expectations of in-car tech in the cars of today and tomorrow. Participants were queried about such technologies as social media, telematics, on-board diagnostics and early warning systems, revealing that connected car tech was already influencing purchasing decisions.

The biggest Audi showroom in the world hosts the UK debut of the R8 V10 Spyder West London Audi covers 190,000 sq ft over seven floors and displays up to 116 Audis together with a 32 bay workshop and massive parking facilities. There will be 100 staff working on site and Sytner – which operates the showroom – expects to see 30,000 customers through its doors in the first twelve months. So of course Audi are going to shout about this new Goliath of a showroom.
