You are purchasing a very good used Original Equipment SMITHS fuel gauge for the Triumph Spitfire 1973-75 and Triumph TR6 1973-76.

This has been tested and it works. The face is dark and the letters and needle are nice and white. The chrome and black painted rim are very good, a couple chips missing as seen in the 1st photo. The case is very clean, showing hardly any rust. This includes the mounting bracket and thumb nut.

A very presentable gauge that works.

From a vintage British inventory, part number on the gauge face BF2232/00.

Photos are the actual gauge.

Please view our auctions and other Ebay Store items for more NOS, new and one of a kind British parts.

Thanks!

Land Rover Discovery Sport, GIANT wellies & the River Seine (+video)

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

The Land Rover Discovery Sport, GIANT wellies & the River Seine Apart from the full reveal of the new Jaguar XE range, JLR’s big outing at this year’s Paris Motor Show has been the public debut of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport. And, as is fast becoming the norm for Jaguar Land Rover, the new Discovery Sport arrived in Paris with a bit of a splash. Rather than just unveiling the new Discovery Sport on the floor in Paris (which they did, with just the Sport on display on the first day), JLR commissioned a giant barge to accommodate the Sport on the River Seine, together with a very British support act in the guise of giant wellingtons.

Wed, 30 May 2012

Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne wants to build Mazda cars in Fiat and Chrysler plants around the world. When Alfa Romeo and Mazda revealed last week that they would be developing a new small roadster together – well, Alfa Romeo would take the next generation MX-5 and sculpt on a new body to make a new Alfa Spider – we suggested Mazda would be better of getting Fiat to build their cars. It seems Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne thinks the same.
