Vauxhall at Geneva: Vauxhall Meriva 2010 UK Prices
Wed, 03 Mar 2010Vauxhall Meriva at Geneva - UK prices revealed Vauxhall has given the 2010 Meriva its first public outing at Geneva (and for that matter Opel has done the same) and seeing it on the floor at Geneva confirms ours suspicions that the New Meriva is almost a cool car (come on, we can’t actually say a mini mpv is really cool). No frumpiness, lots of stylish detail, well conceived and well executed. We still have some doubts about the practicalities of the suicide doors in the real world, but it all looks very good.
Driven: Ford Flex
Fri, 26 Dec 2008When Ford unveiled the Fairlane concept in 2005, the company attempted to "rewrite the people mover story", according to Group Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer, J Mays. The Minivan, once the symbol of suburban America, had fallen out of favor - its dowdy, "soccer mom" image eschewed in exchange for upscale, aggressive SUVs. According to Mays, the idea with the Fairlane was to "move people emotionally as well as physically", something few minivans had done before.
Saleen S351 Mustang being prepped
Fri, 07 Dec 2012After a tumultuous and sometimes litigious couple of years (which included Steve Saleen the man suing Saleen the company for calling itself Saleen!), Saleen the man, the car and the company with the man again in the driver's seat are back, still in Southern California and still in the bustling Inland Empire burg of Corona to which they all ensconced a few years ago. So what's new? First up is a Saleen 351 Mustang, which was announced at the LA auto show last week.
