Held in Polirone Abbey in San Benedetto Po, the two day workshop sets the stage for members of the automotive industry to evaluate and better understand the processes of research and experimentation in the creation and evolution of car models. It’s our first view inside the DS’s cabin and more details are emerging of Citroen’s strategic move upmarket in 2010. Although still officially a concept car, the DS Inside is virtually a carbon copy of the production DS3, the first of the new models named after the legendary 1950s déesse.

In 1951, straight after winning the F1 championship, Alfa Romeo surprisingly retired from racing. The tough post-war financial situation led the Italian brand to focus its investments towards more profitable projects such as the 1900 Berlina. The competition department stayed open on the condition of delivering a brand-boosting racecar for participation in the 1952 Le Mans and Mille Miglia races.
