This Saildrive engine was in fact running when I removed it from an S2 8B 26' Sailboat.
We had located and purchased a new and complete motor and lower unit so replaced the old one. This is the engine only, no lower drive. THIS POWER HEAD DOES NOT HAVE A STARTER MOTOR. It is presented for sale as is, where is. Hook up some fuel to it and you should be able to rope start it, though I can't guarantee that, as it has been sitting for more than 10 years. |
