OPTIMA SINGLE BATTERY BOX (NEW)

these are made of 1 piece of steel, no welds needed! We made them with very tight tolerances so the battery will not move around and the top plate is also cut in a shape to fit the battery. They have no predetermined location holes cut in them so you can use them as best suits your project without having to workaround someone else's idea of how it should be done!

We used mild steel because stainless just isn't necessary in something that is not a show truck and why add $50 to the cost if you don't have to? These are for an Optima 34/78 battery, the most popular size.

Caterham CSR 175 – Tokyo Catchup

Fri, 23 Oct 2009

Just Lotus – who brought the limited edition Lotus Scura – and Alpina – who brought the LWB B7 – were expected to be there to represent the rest of the world. But Caterham – inheritors of Colin Chapman’s Lotus 7  heritage – took advantage of some cheap floor space and turned up with a new car – the Caterham CSR 175./p> The CSR is Caterham’s top of the range, and this CSR 175 slots in as the bottom of the top – if that makes sense.

Audi plans expansion of hybrids, electrics

Mon, 15 Mar 2010

Audi plans a rapid expansion of plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles over the next few years as a key component in Volkswagen Group's strategy to dominate the alternative-powertrain market by decade's end. Michael Dick, Audi's board member for technical development, told Automotive News that the next-generation A6 sedan will have the potential to be a full hybrid by the end of 2012. The A6 would join the recently introduced hybrid A8 sedan at the Geneva auto show and the soon-to-be-launched Q5 hybrid crossover.
