T-Mobile offers service to block cell calls, text messages while driving

The next step in the effort to keep people from using cell phones for calls and text messages while driving has arrived--a service that senses when the phone is moving at carlike speeds and automatically handles calls and messages. T-Mobile is providing the service, called DriveSmart, for its customers who use the LG Optimus T, a mobile phone that runs the Android operating system. T-Mobile says it will make the service available on other handsets soon.

First Sight: Divine DS concept

To mark 100 days since the announcement that DS was to become a brand of its own, separate from Citroën, it has created the Divine DS concept – a self-styled manifesto for the new marque. We traveled to Citroën's DS' design center on the southern outskirts of Paris to be amongst the first to see this statement of intent and speak to the people behind its creation. The production version of the MINI Paceman – the Countryman Coupe – has been revealed ahead of the Paris Motor Show. The MINI Paceman arrived at the Detroit Motor Show in 2011 as a concept, but it was clear, even then, that MINI wouldn’t be able to resist building the Countryman Coupe as a cheaper alternative to the Range Rover Evoque. So now we have the production version of the Paceman revealed ahead of its public debut at Paris 2012, looking exactly like the Paceman Concept.
