Just over a week ago we had a Black Edition Porsche revealed as on the way to Geneva – the Porsche 911 Black Edition. Today we get the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition. We can but assume that either Porsche has stumbled on a job lot of black paint and leather, or the designer of their limited edition models is going through their dark phase.

Mazda is working on an all-new, swoopy design language, which will be unveiled on this Nagare concept car in late November. The company has issued this borderline pointless, teaser sketch of the coupe concept. The Nagare show car – to be unveiled in Los Angeles on 29 November – will influence the next wave of Mazdas, such as future sports cars.

Ford's S-Max MPV has been crowned European Car of the Year, by a panel of journalists. Is it a victory for originality, or yet another duff decision from Europe's motoring journalists?
