These are two Front Penske 8100 body high speed shaft shocks. There are completely rebuild. The only thing old on the shocks are the bodies. The shafts alone in these shocks are $500. But I am selling both complete shocks for $1200. Dyno sheets are available upon request and more pictures are available upon request. Wed, 17 Feb 2010The 2010 Jaguar XKR - with all the options With the Geneva Motor Show just two weeks away, Jaguar has decided to roll out some upgrades to the Jaguar XK range and take the XKR further in to Supercar territory with the addition of two new options – the Speed Pack and the Black Pack. The car Jaguar will be taking to Geneva has both the new option packs fitted and is being billed as the Ultimate Jaguar XKR Special Edition. The info from Jaguar is slightly confusing, as it looks as if US buyers can opt for the fully loaded ‘Jaguar XKR Special Edition’ but UK and European buyers will need to specify both the new Speed and Black packs on a standard XKR to achieve the same end.
Ford Police Interceptor revealed, set to hit the streets in 2011
Fri, 12 Mar 2010Ford's new Taurus-based squad car is set to go on patrol in late 2011, replacing the venerable Crown Victoria in police fleets across the country. With EcoBoost V6 power and all-wheel drive, the new purpose-built Police Interceptor is a departure from the traditional rear-wheel-drive, V8 Crown Vics which have been a mainstay of police fleets for more than 15 years. It will be offered when production of the Crown Victoria ends late next year.
GM, SAIC to develop electric cars in China
Tue, 20 Sep 2011General Motors will work with its joint-venture partner, Chinese carmaker SAIC Motor Corp., to develop parts and vehicle platforms for electric cars, the companies said on Tuesday. The automakers will use their existing joint venture in Shanghai, the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, as the home base to develop the electric car--aimed primarily at the Chinese market. GM says it plans to use the platform, components and technology from the project to build electric cars around the world for various markets.
