Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio and 2500 Balloons Alfa in the UK rather like a bit of social media promotion. So they’ve set up a competition to promote the quite warm Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio. But instead of just doing the usual ‘Like us on Facebook to win’, they’ve put a bit of thought in to the whole thing.

While Ford and General Motors executives chose largely to ignore the financial crisis and government bail outs by pretending they hadn’t happened, Chrysler president Jim Press started his presentation by cracking jokes about it. He then outlined how the company – in an aggressive restructuring programme before the credit crisis – was responding.

Fisker Atlantic official The Fisker Atlantic – a smaller range extender car from Fisker – has been officially revealed on the eve of the New York Auto Show. We had the leaked photos of the new Fisker Atlantic a few days ago – a car we’d known as ‘Project Nina until now – but now we have the real deal from Fisker on the Atlantic as the New York Auto Show gets ready to strut its stuff. And we don’t really know any more about Fisker’s new baby than we did before.
