Rare 1931-1934 Studebaker Carburetor Air Cleaner/canister With Photos Included on 2040-parts.com

This is a very Rare accessory, the factory original Carburetor Air canister and filter set up for the 1932-34 Studebaker Engine, not sure about 1931?. I believe this was for the Straight 8 motors, as depicted in the factory photos. it has minor surface rust and dirt but do not see any rot out. This is one of those original items that you rarely will see on a restored car or even an original because it was a factory part that was usually tossed, lost or never put back on the car through the years. It is that factory original carburetor air cleaner/canister set up that went on the 1931 - 1933 (maybe as late as 1934) Studebakers. I have included pictures to show the part in original factory photos as well as the factory brochure that came out showing this part on the motor. I do not have the part that bends up to the carburetor, but it would be an easier job of getting a metal fabrication or machine shop to reproduce the elbow then it would the original canister and filter housing. In 40 yrs of being around Studebakers I have never seen a car have this rare item. This is one of those items that completes and makes an original restoration stand out that makes everyone else car incomplete. You can run across the Stromberg UU2 and UX2 Carburetors fairly frequently on Ebay for between $1500-$2k, but when have you ever seen this item that is supposed to be with it?
