This is a brand new 1 Gallon Bottle of Racers Choice TNT Detectable Tire Softener (Part #5000X).  1 Gallon should treat tires for four racing weekends.  Good for use on dirt and asphalt tires.

  • TNT 5000X is designed for racers that are going to run a total of 50 laps or less
  • Reduces lap times 2-5 tenths
  • Increases tire life up to 50%
  • Increases tire traction
  • Tires will run 15-25 degrees cooler
  • This product works on natural & synthetic rubbers
  • All tires respond well including hard tires with grooves
  • If you have very hard, glazed, used tires, this product will bring them back

For maximum results, clean the glaze off new tires before softening with RCI 7050X Tire Cleaner, available in our Ebay store.  This should be worth another 1/2 of a tenth.

Suggested instructions:

  • Clean tires with 7050X Cleaner
  • Scuff tires with wire brush
  • Shake product well
  • Using a paint roller, apply first coat evenly while rotating the tire
  • Allow tires to dry for 2-3 hours in between coats
  • After the third coat, allow 24-36 hours before racing
  • Note: Dirt Track tires usually work better with 4-5 coats

SsangYong Korando Sports arrives

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

SsangYong has extended the appeal of their budget SUV Korando by launching the Korando Sports, a cross between a family car and a pick-up. Now SsangYong are pitching in to the Bob the Builder market with their take on vehicles like the Mitsubishi L200 (which has just been given a five year warranty by Mitsubishi) with the SsangYong Korando Sports. The Korando Sports is a double cab pickup with four doors and five seats that SsangYong says offers a working vehicle with 4WD, 2.3 tonne towing capacity and all the appointments of a family car.

Tata Prima (w/ Gallery)

Thu, 19 Mar 2009

Pininfarina didn't show a new car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but there was a surprise new model on the Tata stand adorned with the famed Carrozzeria's signature. Called the Tata Prima (meaning 'first' in Italian), the luxury sedan concept is the first official project of the Tata-Pininfarina cooperation. Based on the platform of the Tata Indigo - the first Indian sedan - the Prima is an indication of how future Tata sedans could look.

Is Stefan Sielaff about to jump ship from Audi to head BMW interior design?

Here at CDN we hear plenty of gossip, much of which ends up as hot air and hardly any of which we publish. But when the source of a potential story is as reliable as Georg Kacher – a giant (physically and metaphorically) of a journalist with uncannily strong connections to those within the Germany industry – there's good cause to pay attention. His 'predictions' rarely fail to materialize.
