Replacement for Alpha Gen 1 Bellow Kit 


  • This kit includes all parts pictured. All three bellows, gimbal bearing, gasket set, water hoses, hose clamps
  • This kit fits most Alpha drives from 1973-1990
  • This listing also includes a shift cable kit, shift cable removal and installation tool, and hinge pin tool. The shift cable will fit 1986 and newer models with no modification. Earlier models will have to have the cable threads in the bellhousing tapped through if not already done (per Mercruiser service bulletin)
  • There are a few other tools that are required per service manual and we do offer them but many can be loaned at parts stores or a suitable replacement can be used.
  • We do also have these kits for sale without the tools for less on other listings.

EcoMotors International has received $23.5 million from Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates and investor Vinod Khosla for engineering and testing of its trademarked Opoc engine technology. EcoMotors said in a statement Monday that the investment marks a key advance in commercializing its opposed piston-opposed cylinder engine.
