These gloves are the total gauntlet style with a true leather palm and finger points. These gloves are constructed from the lightest, highest quality fire retardant materials, which include a reinforced palm pad to reduce hand fatigue and grip points for the wheel. RJS Racing Equipment Elite gloves have that soft fire retardant inner liner that has always set the benchmark for RJS Racing over many of their competitors for over 57 years. The overall frictions points have been wrapped in leather without loosing that tactile touch but minimizing that unnecessary vibration that can cause driver duress. These gloves took 21 months to develop from a host of drivers input from an array of sanctioning bodies and venues. There simply is no comparison to the quality of these gloves on the market today for safety, comfort style and performance. The Tourer appears to have changed little from the concept that was shown at Frankfurt in 2007. The profile remains the same, and apart from a switch to production lights, wheels, grille, mirrors and door handles the exterior has kept most of the concept’s flavour.
Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept: Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 05 Mar 2013ItalDesign Giugiaro – owned by Volkswagen – has created a compact SUV crossover – the Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept – based on Lamborghini underpinnings. The Giugiaro Parcour – named after the odd French habit of bouncing off buildings – has been developed as both a coupe and a roadster (you can see both in the pictures above) and uses the potent 542bhp 5.2 litre V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo as well as a Lambo 4WD system to create what ItalDesign say is a blend of crossover, SUV, sports car and GT. All bases covered, then.
BMW M5 2011 (F10) at Nurburgring +video
Fri, 09 Oct 2009The 2011 BMW M5 caught on video near the Nurburgring Wonderful power plant though the V10 is, in these economy and emissions conscience times it is a pragmatic move by BMW to use the 4.4 litre V8 already seen in the X5M and X6M in the next generation M5. It seems almost certain if you watch this video – especially at around 3:15 where you can hear the turbos quite clearly – that forced induction is the route BMW are taking. But it seems likely that the M5 will get a few more horses than others in the BMW range using the same powerplant.
