Vauxhall Corsa gets a 2010 eco facelift

The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures).How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently. French government vows Renault reform after meeting with Ghosn
Fri, 18 Mar 2011The French government will see to it that the individuals responsible for the now debunked Renault SA espionage affair are dealt with, the Finance and Industry ministers said in a statement. "The ministers underscored that they will pay close attention to organizational reform and individual responsibility (at Renault) based on the result of the audit," Finance minister Christine Lagarde and Industry Minister Eric Besson said in a joint statement after meeting with Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn on Thursday. The French state, which owns 15 percent of Renault, has called for a thorough investigation into discredited claims that three Renault executives were spying on the carmaker, possibly for a foreign government.
Top Gear Series 19: Video trailer & 1st episode details
Sat, 19 Jan 2013Series 19 of Top Gear returns to BBC 2 on 27th January, and we have a video trailer and details of the first episode. It’s been a bit odd without Top Gear on our screens (well, new Top Gear episodes), but normal service will resume on 27th January as series 19 of Top Gear returns to BBC2. Ahead of the first episode of series 19 (there will be seven episodes in total), the Beeb is making sure we know there’s a new Top Gear series coming with a short video trailer, and the BBC has also sent us details of the first episode.
