This is an angle of attack transducer used on various types of aircraft. This one was removed during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or the connector. arm is in place and the data tag reads ANGLE OF ATTACK SENSOR, PART NO. 0861FG4, MOD. 1, 2, ROSEMOUNT AEROSPACE INC. Electric Ford Focus starts European production

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

The Electric Ford Focus (pictured) is now being built in Europe The electric Ford Focus is already in production, and on sale, in the USA, and now it’s gone in to production in Germany ahead of arriving with owners in July. So far, the Focus EV hasn’t been an overwhelming success in the US, with just over 700 sold in the first five months of 2013 but, even though Ford see the EV as a niche product, they’re still hoping to make a dent in sales of the Nissan LEAF in Europe. The Focus EV comes with an electric motor producing 143bhp and powered by a bank of lithium-ion batteries.

Pagani C9: the tease begins despite problems at Pagani

Thu, 30 Dec 2010

Pagani C9 - the tease begins despite production problems As teasers for a new car go, the video tease at the bottom for the Zonda’s replacement – internal codename Pagani C9 – is about as obscure as anything we’ve had from any car maker. Although logically it’s only a step on from bizarre camera angles of minute detail, something we see regularly. This odd little video came across our radar yesterday when Harry Metcalfe – he of Evo founding fame – posted a link to a new website set up by an Italian web marketing company showing the video below.
