A USA MADE 4-STAGE DRY SUMP OIL PAN FOR A 2-PIECE REAR SEAL SMALL BLOCK CHEVY.      THE TWO PICKUPS ARE  -12 FITTINGS IN THE SIDE AND ONE IN THE FRONT IS -12 ALSO.

THE PAN IS 7.00" DEEP AT THE BACK AND 5.25" AT THE FRONT.   IT IS 9.50" WIDE AT THE BOTTOM.  IT IS 11.50" WIDE WHERE IT BOLTS TO THE BLOCK.   IT  IS EXTRA WIDE WHICH MAKES MORE HORSEPOWER.

I CANNOT PROVE IT BUT THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP  TELLS ME THIS IS A NASCAR OIL PAN.   THE BILLET END PLATES, THE RAILS THAT BOLT ON FIRST AND THEN THE PAN BOLTS TO IT.    WELDED BRACES EVERYWHERE JUST SCREAMS NASCAR TECHNOLOGY.  AND NO BRAND NAME ON IT ALSO TELLS ME IT WAS BUILT IN HOUSE.

Along with the Kangoo ZE, it will be one of Renault’s first electric vehicles which go on sale in 2011. It does – there’s energy-saving LED lights, cameras to replace the rear-view mirrors, solar cells on the roof, dash and parcel shelf, and 21-inch wheels.

This is the all-new Volvo V40, the Swedish car company’s latest rival to the Ford Focus, VW Golf et al. It will be officially unveiled at the 2012 Geneva motor show next month. Volvo is being particularly bullish about the prospects of its new V40, with Volvo president and CEO Stefan Jacoby claiming the new model ‘will give our toughest competitors a headache’.
