Along with a handful of revised vehicles, the BMW X5 eDrive concept will be on stage showing off the latest technology in the company's goody bag. BMW is buddying up with Toyota on an all-new sports car platform, set to underpin the replacements for the Z4, 6-series and GT86. The unlikely collaboration stems from an alliance that began in 2011, where BMW and Toyota agreed to co-develop next-generation lithium ion batteries, and for Toyota to use BMW’s fourpot diesels in its European cars. An engineering team is beavering away on the project, with the clock ticking: the suits want to outline the car’s specification before the end of 2013. This is the new VW Bulli, a small electric MPV unveiled on the eve of the 2011 Geneva motor show. 'Bulli' was the German name for the 1950's T1, what the US market called the Microbus, and the new Bulli concept is an evolution of the lovely Microbus concept revealed in 2001. The new concept is smaller than Microbus concept and has an EV powerplant.
