Land Rover begins production of the Range Rover Evoque
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Land Rover started production of its Range Rover Evoque on Monday, as the first production vehicle was driven off the line at Land Rover's U.K. Halewood plant in Liverpool. "The Evoque is an incredibly exciting vehicle that joins a product range which across both of our brands is the strongest we have ever had--and it fits in perfectly," Jaguar Land Rover CEO Ralf Speth said in a statement.

If today's minivans are an integral part of our daily lives, this Peugeot 204-based H4 should be placed back in its original context in the early ‘70s, when this monovolume architecture still belonged to science fiction. Lamborghini Aventador Roadster sold out for the next year

That North American East Coast outing comes just a few months after Lamborghini revealed its open-topped Aventador at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November with the same 6.5 litre V12 engine as its tin-topped sibling and a 0-62mph of a scant 3.0 seconds. At a UK price expected to be just the right side of £300k you might think, especially in these financially constrained times, Lamborghini might struggle to find buyers for its ultimate toupee wrecker.
