  • This listing is for one 17 foot control cable.
  • Features a 18 wire conduit for maximum efficiency and logetivity
  • This is considered a 189 series cable for Mercury/Mariner outboards and Mercruiser sterdrives and all Mercury generation 2 series controls. They have a 3.3" (85mm) stroke. The majority of motors do not use this style, if your mercury control box is older than 1996 this is not the correct cable. This is NOT FOR OLDER MERCURY MOTORS! Older manufactured controls use a different cable that has a black barrel at both ends. We do offer those as well on other listings.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG revealed

Mercedes-Benz's AMG performance-car division has officially revealed its new 577-hp S63 AMG ahead of the rapid sedan's public Frankfurt motor show debut in September. Several traditional AMG styling mods distinguish the S63 from recently introduced but lesser S-class models (“S-class Stunner,” Autoweek, May 27). They include a deep new front bumper, chromed blade grille, twin-turbo V8 badges on the side and beefed-up sills.

Next BMW X1 loses inline-six, gets smaller and lighter

The second-generation BMW X1, expected here in early 2016, is smaller and lighter than the existing first-generation model. The new X1 loses optional six-cylinder power; a new high-output four-cylinder replaces it. A high-ranking BMW manager confirmed the new X1 abandons today's longitudinal engine layout for a version of the new transverse-engine platform the 2-series Active Tourer uses.

SUZUKI has come over all charitable with the news that it has given away the first of its free S-Cross models that are up for grabs. Entrants to the competition had to nominate someone they knew to receive a free S-Cross car – and well-equipped models, too – with a brief explanation of why the nominee deserved it. The first to pick up their free new 14-plate crossover were a ‘very surprised’ Phillip Southward and wife Sue, who collected their SZ4-spec S-Cross at Suzuki’s RRG dealership in Stockport.
