Supreme Court decides police need warrant for GPS trackers

The U.S. Department of Justice just got taken down a peg by the Supreme Court in a victory for privacy advocates. The high court ruled on Monday that a law-enforcement officer affixing a GPS tracker to a person's vehicle without a warrant is in violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Peugeot puts RCZ designer on Twitter

Like many automakers, Peugeot is now making conspicuous use of social media platforms as a component in its new car launch campaigns and in order to manage customer relations online. For its new RCZ coupe, Peugeot in the UK has been running a social media campaign under the strap line "It chooses you", with associated Twitter and Facebook accounts – which culminated with a member of the public winning an RCZ last week. Probe of the Ford F-150 is expanded to cover 2.7 million vehicles

U.S. safety regulators have expanded to 2.7 million vehicles an investigation into faulty fuel-tank straps on Ford F-150 pickups. Officials are looking into whether the straps that hold the fuel tanks can rust and break on F-150s from the 1997-2001 model years.
