Video: First glimpse of Porsche's new 911

These are the first images of the new 2012 Porsche 911, set to make its official debut at the forthcoming Frankfurt motor show. The evolutionary design, built atop a chassis that rides on a longer wheelbase, will feature a steeper rake on the windshield and stand shorter than the outgoing 997, while retaining similar overall dimensions. According to an insider, the new 2012 911 will also feature a heavily revised interior, similar to that of the recent Cayenne and Panamera models.

As we cruise through Texas A&M Transportation Institute Tuesday revealed that voice-to-text apps -- which read text messages aloud and allow users to respond using their voice -- are equally as distracting as manual texting. Peugeot are teasing what appears to be the Peugeot Onyx Concept on their Facebook page, a hybrid supercar heading for the Paris Motor Show. We already know that production versions of the Peugeot 208 GTi and Peugeot XY luxury 208 are heading for the Paris Motor Show, but it appears Peugeot will have something a bit more dramatic on offer. Peugeot has revealed a teaser photo of a new concept car for Paris on their Facebook page this afternoon, and a bit of digging around French motoring web site turns up more detail.
