VINTAGE CLASSIC - 1959 EVINRUDE 35HP LARK OUTBOARD MOTOR - ELECTRIC START THIS MOTOR DOES TURN FREE AND HAS COMPRESSION - WILL NEED RESTORATION - OR USE FOR PARTS - - - I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS MOTOR RUN THIS OUTBOARD IS VERY UGLY BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS GOOD - SHOWING USE AND AGE AND NEGLECT PROP TURNS - ENGINE TILTS UP - ENGINE PIVOTS SIDE TO SIDE - FROM WHAT I CAN TELL EVERYTHING SEEMS TO MOVE PROPERLY SOME PARTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED BUT I HAVE THE PARTS AND THEY APPEAR TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION LOOKS TO BE A GREAT MOTOR TO RESTORE I CAN NOT READ THE NUMBERS BUT I WAS TOLD BY THE PRIOR OWNER THAT IT IS A 1959 35HP THE ENGINE COVER IS THE UGLIEST PART BUT IT IS SOLID AND STRAIGHT AND COMPLETE - STRIPPING AND REPAINT WOULD CHANGE ITS ENTIRE IMAGE THIS ENGINE SEEMS TO BE COMPLETE / VERY STRAIGHT / VERY SOLID I THINK IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE USED FOR PARTS, BUT THAT IS YOUR CHOICE I DO NOT KNOW ITS HISTORY AND DO NOT KNOW ITS PRIOR WORKING CONDITION BEING SOLD FOR RESTORATION OR FOR PARTS SOLD AS IS / AS DESCRIBED / AS PICTURED WINNING BIDDER WILL PICK THIS ITEM UP AT MY HOME - OR - FOR A $10.00 FEE I CAN DELIVER IT TO THE UPS STORE. VW recalls 2014 vehicles for oil-cooler issue
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Volkswagen notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently of an issue affecting the automatic transmission oil cooler in certain 2014 models. The recall has affected 26,452 vehicles overall, including the 2014 model year Passat, Jetta, Beetle and Beetle convertible, made between Feb. 1, 2014 and April 6, 2014.
