Here is a vintage Dixco 8000 RPM tachometer in used condition. It has some rust and scratches on the chrome. This has not been tested, so I don't know if it works or not. From the looks of the wires, I don't think it was ever hooked up. The resistors have not been cut. The red and black wires are around 24'' long, the green one is about 60'' long. This does NOT come with the mounting bracket. This measures around 4'' in diameter. Sold as is........... I will combine items when possible. Some heavy items cannot be shipped together. All parts are used and sold as is, no returns. Unless you see a "Best Offer" button, DO NOT send me a message with your offer.

Four in 10 'can't read maps'

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

ALMOST four in 10 drivers don't know how to read a traditional map, according to new research by sat-nav manufacturer Garmin. A study of 2,000 Brits revealed that 39% admit to not knowing what they're doing with old-fashioned navigation, but the true figure could well be higher than that when taking into account those who believe they can read a map but have either never tried or never proved it. A worrying 16% say that they are 'heavily reliant' on sat-nav in their cars in order to get anywhere – even to places they regularly visit.

Aston Martin outlines Centenary celebrations

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

Aston Martin celebrates its centenary year in 2013 and has outlined plans to celebrate 100 years of Aston Martin. Officially, Aston Martin was founded in 1913 – although it was not until after the first world war ended that they actually started proper production – and with 2013 marking 100 years of Aston Martin there are celebrations planned throughout the year. On 15th January – exactly 100 years since Aston Martin was incorporated – the oldest surviving Aston Martin – the A3 – will join the latest Aston Martin Vanquish at Henniker Mews in Chelsea, where Aston Martin originally operated, to unveil a plaque to commemorate the anniversary with the Aston Martin Heritage Trust Walter Hayes Memorial Lecture taking place that evening with Sir John Standing telling the story of Lionel Martin’s early experiences.
