Here is a vintage Fram oil filter. It is model C-136A. The filter is from an old Nash dealer's stock. It probably fits many makes of cars using the canister type oil filter. It measures almost 8 inches long including the pipes sticking out of each end. It is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. It includes the gasket for the lid.

Prices for the yet-nameless new cheap VWs will start from just €6000, or £4800, according to paperwork seen by CAR. How can VW build city cars so cheaply?

We call it the 207 SW estate, and it arrives here in July, minus the glitzy showcar bits. Based on the 207 chassis, the estate will use all the hatchback’s transmissions and engines bar the 1.6-litre turbo found in the GTI, with prices starting around the £10,000 mark.
