2011 Vauxhall VXR8: Vauxhall at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Vauxhall VXR8 2011 - in Holden clothes With the Goodwood Festival of Speed just a few weeks away, we’re going to get a fair few car makers letting us know what goodies they’re taking to the show. Today it’s the turn of Vauxhall. Probably the most interesting is the first appearence of the 2011 Vauxhall VXR8 in the Goodwood First Glance/Supercar Group.

True, it doesn’t offer the most dynamic drive in the world, but unless you are after a small car to chuck around with great abandon the comfort on offer in the C3 more than makes up for it. The particular car we had – the Citroen C3 1.4 VTi Exclusive – is the top of the trim tree in the C3 range, offering a lot of toys – such as the Visio panoramic roof, Climate and all-round electric windows – as standard.

The Saab 9-4X has gone in to limited production in Mexico With all the shenanigans going on with the sale of Saab it’s very easy to forget that there is the business of making cars still going on. Not just still going on, but moving forward. We reported last month that Saab were to re-start production in January and it now looks as if the yet to be revealed Saab 9-4X SUV is also being made – albeit in small numbers.
