Vintage Porsche 914 Hella Interior Back Pad Light 111.947.111d on 2040-parts.com
Tucson, Arizona, United States
Hard to find original Hella interior light for a 914 that hasn't melted or cracked in half. As close to mint condition as I have seen in a while. The silver edge under paint has some wear but could be touched up with some chrome/silver paint. The lens is clear with no hot spots, warping, yellowing or fogging. It is a 3 pole white square button OEM "Made in Germany" light. The aftermarket lights are 2 pole. There is some minor crazing on one side of the lens, if you use an LED bulb you will keep it from melting or degrading.

A tribute to Ermanno Cressoni
Wed, 06 Jul 2005Last week the car design community suffered a great loss. Ermanno Cressoni or 'Arch' as many of his designers affectionately referred to him, passed away on Thursday 30th June in Milan after battling with cancer for 13 months.'Arch' was a reference in car design and his contribution to our profession was much more important than stated in the press. As Alfa Romeo Centro Stile Director he directed the Alfetta berlina, the famous chrome GTV grille from the early seventies is attributed to him, as is the Giuglietta sedan of the late seventies, the Alfa 33, the 75, and many of the racing Alfas we adore from the late 60s and early 70s.
Brits take the world steam land speed record – twice +video
Sat, 29 Aug 2009The British Steam Car Challenge team has set a new land speed record for a steam car at 148.308mph All of which tends to suggest – admirable though the achievement is – that steam technology has not moved on much in 100 years. An improvement of around 1mph a decade. Still, a challenge is a challenge, and the team on the British Steam Car Challenge rose to the occasion.

Tue, 29 Jul 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 29 July 2014 09:52 This is the new, third-generation Kia Sorento coming in 2015 – and it’s set to get a dose of the style bestowed upon its Sportage little sister. Only this pair of shadowy teaser photographs has been issued ahead of the new Sorento’s debut in Korea at the end of August. But this is a global car and will be shown at the 2014 Paris motor show too in October, ahead of UK sales in spring 2015.
