SEMA ups scholarship money for car-crazed college kids
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The Specialty Equipment Market Association, better known to most of us as SEMA, has announced a hefty boost to its SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2013: The top student selected now gets $1,000 more for a total of $5,000 toward an automotive-related college education. Other eligible participants in four-year programs get $3,000—last year, they only received $2,000—and two-year students get their funds doubled to $2,000. In the Buckeye State, one lucky student at the Ohio Technical College will get complete tuition coverage, which is a cool $29,400.
2013 Ford Fiesta production starts

The facelift for the 2013 Fiesta sees the arrival of the ‘Aston Martin’ grill bolted to the front of the new Fiesta – a pitch for the AM Cygnet contract, perhaps – together with new headlights with LED running lights and a bulge up the bonnet. Small changes, but they do make the new Fiesta bolder, even though it loses some of its finesse in the process.
Hottest vehicles at the SEMA Show
Wed, 06 Nov 2013What's the coolest car, truck or SUV from among the 1,500 feature vehicles this year at SEMA? How would you even begin to agree on an answer? SEMA figured it out this way: they wandered through the halls and counted all 1,500 cars.
