Ford Fiesta ST3 is the new range-topping ST

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

The Ford Fiesta ST3 (pictured) launches The absence of an RS Ford at the moment means lovers of fast Fords have to settle for an ST, rather than a full-fat RS. (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});But it seems that those who do opt for the ST versions of Ford’s cars are willing to pay more to get a bettered specced car, something Ford are happy to accommodate with the launch of a new Fiesta ST model – the Ford Fiesta ST3. The Essence seems a good starting point for that mission; it’s already a big (over 15′ long) swoopy-coupe with a hybrid powerplant consisting of a 3.7 litre turbo V6 and electric motor combination good for 590bhp.

(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({}); When we reported prices and specs last week for the new Hyundai Veloster, we were suitably impressed at what was on offer, with one exception – the engine. We’d been hoping for a little more oomph from the successor to the very good Hyundai Coupe, and we were a little disappointed that the only engine on offer was a 138bhp diesel.
