Where to rent a Lamborghini in South Florida

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

Everyone's fav tween pop star The worst person in the world Justin Bieber got arrested last night in Miami after leaving SET, a swanky nightclub. He was allegedly drag-racing against a Ferrari 16M Scuderia in a—we're assuming rented—Lamborghini Gallardo. He was also allegedly under the influence of both drugs and alcohol, and resisted arrest without violence before he had the cuffs slapped on.

One Lap of the Web: Antarctic hot rods, Nissan BE-1 for sale and parting with a beloved Wagoneer

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

-- Here's yet another gem we first saw over at Hemmings: The first, and (so far as we know) only Antarctic hot rod ever built. It might be from 1968-'71; not much else is known, except that it was probably constructed by Navy SeaBees operating out of McMurdo Station. From the one photo we have, it looks like it could have a Jeep flathead four up front.

Subaru XV gets another price cut – down by £2300 across the XV range

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

The Subaru XV (pictured) gets a price cut of £2,300 across the range Over a year ago, Subaru launched the new XV in the UK with a starting point of £21,995, Which was decent value for an able Crossover/SUV. But by May of 2013, Subaru had decided there was room to play with the XV’s price – or at least on the 1.6 litre petrol version – and they announced a £1300 price drop for the entry-level petrol XV. But now, just six weeks later, Subaru has decided that the weakening Yen has given them more room to manoeuvre on price and have announced they’re cutting prices across the whole XV range by £2300 (which actually means £1,000 off the new price for the 1.6 litre petrol).
