These LED trailer ligfhts were purchased to replace what we thought were defective LED lights on a trailer, but it was determined that the wiring was defective instead.  Consequently, these lights are not needed and are available at an attractive price.  One package was never opened and the opened one never saw any power applied to it because of the wiring problem.  That was corrected and the original LED unit was re-installed instead.

Following is the manufacturer's description of these lights from their website:

"Designed to accept industry standard 3-pin plugs, this 6” oval LED light meets DOT FMVSS 108 requirements for use as tail lights, turn signal lights, hazard lights, brake lights, and parking lights. The light mounts flush with a compatible grommet, bezel, or flange. Each light boasts 56 LEDs that operate within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and consumes 90% less energy than incandescent lamps. Sonically sealed polycarbonate lens and weatherproof housing. The truck/trailer lights are available in red or amber. Lifetime warranty on all truck/trailer lights. Dimensions: 6.5”(16.51cm) x 2.14”(5.448cm) x 1.52”(3.871cm)"

General Motors plans to build its next-generation mid-sized pickup in Missouri and will reopen its former Saturn assembly plant in Tennessee to build two new mid-sized vehicles, according to details released Tuesday of its tentative pact with the UAW. GM has been tight-lipped about whether it planned U.S. production of the next iteration of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, its small pickups.
