London to Brighton Veteran Car Run 2013: in pictures
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Nearly 400 pre-1905 cars took to the streets on Sunday 3 November as the 2013 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run took place. Organised by the Royal Automobile Club, the annual 60-mile event started at Hyde Park at 6.58am, with a ceremonial finish along Brighton's Madeira Drive starting just three hours later.

Based until the late ’80s up the road from us in Witham, Ginetta was bought by a bunch of enthusiasts, relocated to Yorkshire and seems to be doing alright after a change of ownership in 2007. The German shop tends to focus on Mercedes cars, but its parts can also be found on hopped-up Teslas and the Benz-owned Smart Car. The Brabus 800 Widestar kit for the Mercedes G65 AMG starts with the stock 6.0-liter V12 and massages it --with a sledgehammer -- to put 800 horses to the pavement through all four wheels.
