BMW to launch app for music on demand

BMW is partnering with online-music-service provider MOG to develop an application that allows on-demand music to be streamed inside its cars. The service launches with the BMW 6-series this fall. The MOG app for the BMW Apps option has on-demand streaming with unlimited, ad-free listening; mobile storage for music, and the ability to search, tag songs or listen to curated content.

Carr has always prided itself on ad-free pages and continual focus on the future of car design but to do this needs some help from its readers as the team looks to improve its circulation and bolster content. The redesigned Nissan Versa has more standard features and a higher starting price for the 2012 model year--$10,990 without destination costs. The sub-$10,000 Versa will no longer be sold in the United States. Destination costs for the 2012 model have not yet been released.
