The Tesla Model S is garnering some impressive reviews now it’s out in the wild in the US, but it’s still some way from landing in Europe. But at least Tesla has come up with price and spec details for Europe, even though RHD models for the UK still don’t have a number.
GM disbands unit that creates high-performance vehicles
Wed, 18 Feb 2009General Motors, focusing on mainstream products in a battle to survive, has scrapped a unit that produced high-performance vehicles. GM on Wednesday disbanded High Performance Vehicle Operations, which is based at the company's suburban Detroit technical center, and redeployed its engineers, spokesman Vince Muniga said. "All high-performance projects are on indefinite hold," Muniga said.
