I am selling a new 1943 Jacobs Radial Engine Table that I just finished.  Not much I can say that the pictures don't already say for themselves.  I have made/sold these before, but this one is by far my favorite.  I spared no expense on this engine.  All nuts and bolts replaced, custom water jetted heavy duty steel base, custom tempered glass, powdercoat, CHROME you name it!

I prefer local pickup, but might be willing to ship if agreed upon ahead of time.    I have the engine currently broken down where it could fit in most larger vehicles for local pickup.  The largest dimension is the 46" glass.    I  may be willing to help deliver the engine table if agreed upon ahead of time within a reasonable distance.  (I'm willing to go the extra mile so it won't get damaged.) I can leave most of the nuts out of the engine to make it easier to dissasemble in order to move into an office or into your house.   I fly for the airlines and will be out of the country the next few days so please allow a couple days for pickup.  This engine turns heads!  I designed this base so that you can adjust the height of the table by a few inches.  Dimensions of the glass is 46" across, floor to the glass is 2'2" and from the floor to the top of the crankshaft is right at 3'.

Ah, the '80s--the time of big hair, MTV and underpowered cars. The decade wasn't a total loss, though. You could find a few diamonds in the rough.

BMW reveals its 2012 London Olympics fleet

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

BMW 2012 London Olympic Fleet arrives BMW has revealed its fleet of cars for ferrying athletes, VIPs and officials around London for the 2012 Olympics. BMW is an official sponsor for the 2012 London Olympics – just in case you’ve been in a cave for the last couple of years – and are focusing supplying on low emission cars cars to transport the mass of Olympic bods round London this summer. That means there will be no plutocratic 7 Series of ‘let’s get there quick’ M5s on offer and instead the Olympic great and good will have to do with a fleet of cars with a green halo.
