1947 1948 1949 1950 1951 1952 1953 Chevy Chevrolet Gmc Running Board Braces on 2040-parts.com
Whitewater, Colorado, US
These running board braces are coming off a truck that I am parting out. They are in pretty good condition. They do have surface rust but are straight. I have 2 of them left that are 17" measuring from the bottom bolt hole out to the end, It is my understanding that the running boards on a Chevy 1/2 ton truck needs three of these on each side and they are 3 different sizes. Make sure you get the right size for your needs. This auction is for each brace of your selection. Be sure to look at my other items. Any questions you can call me at 970-241-7606 or send me an email. Thanks, Billy

Keeping Shelby alive
Mon, 19 Nov 2012Carroll Shelby, the wild-spirited 89-year-old racing icon and king of thundering garage hot rods, lay on his deathbed last May struggling to talk. He urged his younger friend and business partner John Luft to lean closer. "Keep Shelby American alive," Shelby strained to tell Luft in his final hours.
Hummer H2 (2007): first official pictures
Wed, 28 Mar 2007By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 28 March 2007 09:52 Hummer H2: the lowdown It’s best not to look directly at the new Hummer H2 in sunlight; you’ll be blinded by bling. New bits of glitz have appeared on the 2008 model, going on sale later in the year, including newly chromed door handles and a larger, lower grille. This grille, along with larger gaps in the seven-slot full-frontal smirk, helps to cool the more powerful 6.2-litre V8.
Aston Martin make Nissan’s Andy Palmer their new CEO
Tue, 02 Sep 2014Andy Palmer (pictured) is taking the reins at Aston Martin Lagonda Aston Martin has effectively been without a boss since Ulrich Bez stepped down from the role last year, but that changes with the announcement that Andrew Palmer – until now, Chief Planning Officer of Nissan – is to step in to the role. There’s no specific start date for Andy Palmer at Aston, but Nissan has announced that Philippe Klein will take up Palmer’s role at Nissan on 15 September, so it shouldn’t be long before Palmer holds the reins at Aston Martin. But what exactly has persuaded Andy Palmer to jump from a big corporate behemoth like Nissan to a struggling luxury car maker with owners who either want to tug the operating strings (the Kuwaitis) or are looking for a quick return (Investindustrial)?
