Here we have a VERY NICE ORIGINAL STEEL 1955 -1956 - 1957 FORD THUNDERBIRD RIGHT FRONT FRESH AIR DUCT. The duct is basically rust free but does have some build up of Sound Deadener (now would be termed undercoating) on the top side: The top side can not be seen when the duct is installed under the fender. The bottom side of the duct, the part that is seen when the duct is installed, is in excellent, REALLY clean condition. There is also a dent on the topside, clearly shown in the last 2 photos, which again is not visible when the duct is installed. The rear connection flange and the front inlet are both in Excellent, rust free condition. This duct would be an excellent piece for a Concourse Show Quality Car. Cars race along an avenue of trees, past the front of Goodwood House and up a steep estate road – lined with flint walls and woodland – to arrive at the finish on Goodwood’s Equine Racecourse, overlooking the South Downs. Practice takes place throughout the weekend, with up to 200 cars competing.
