This original assembly has a good working speedometer and odometer. It has a trip meter also however the treaded outer cable end is broke. The chrome is shinny but has some chrome bubbles and small pitting in a few places. All of our parts were removed from rust-free Central Oregon high desert cars and most of them have been in dry storage for 30-40 years, for more information see my "About Me" page. The first ever Maserati to get diesel engine power, the Ghibli will go on sale in autumn 2013, and sit below the Quattroporte super-limo in the Maserati range. Maserati Ghibli: the spec All Ghiblis will be powered by Ferrari-fettled versions of Chrysler’s ‘Pentastar’ twin-turbocharged V6 engines, mounted up front and mated to eight-speed paddle-shift gearboxes.

One of the big let-downs of Yank-Tanks has always been the poor interior. With dashboards that look (and feel) as if they’ve been made out of recycled Fairy Liquid bottles, and more shake, rattle and roll than Bill Haley, the interiors were always one of the main reasons us Brits just couldn’t live with the cars.
