Before the sale ends...

Questions are always welcome, by email or by phone at (708) 458-2500 ext #20. I try to answer all emails and calls (even hundreds a week!) but I am out of town on and off, so please try to inquire early on in the sale if you have a question. Remember: there is no stupid question except the one that isn't asked.

After the sale:

If you have a question about the item or shipment after payment has been made, you must send your name, zip code, and auction number to track the sale and shipment. Also, if an sale is unsuccessful I always welcome an email -- but remember that eBay will not transfer the sale number or description in the header so you must include these on your own.

Payment:

Upon completion of the sale, the successful buyer will be sent a notice with a payment total and other information. Paypal and Visa/Mastercard are accepted.

Shipping:

If you buy several items, they may be combined to save shipping costs. Shipments outside the continental U.S. normally require additional shipping charges -- so please let me know if you are from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, or anywhere else in the world in your first email to me along with your shipping preference.

The Post Office is the most economical option for shipping outside the continental U.S., but has a few disadvantages: it is slower, there is virtually no tracking, and it has been known to lose things. UPS is faster and has great tracking (which is why we normally use them) but it is more costly. Overseas orders can take a long time for delivery, so those customers must be patient. Overseas customers are always welcome, and I can accept Visa/Mastercard to help expedite the process for them.

To our Canadian friends: we ship north or south of the border on request, mark everything antique parts, and have some customers who clear customs themselves... or advise if you have any other special requests. Shipping to Canada via the Post Office can take a long time, especially on heavier packages.

Customer Service Goals & Satisfaction:

I want to make you happy and will do everything I can to do it. I try my best to describe everything as accurately as possible, but mistakes do happen at times. But I stand behind what I sell, and will make it right or offer a refund.

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

The 2012 Ford B-Max has sector best economy and emissions With the 2102 Ford B-Max due to debut in production guise at Geneva in a few weeks, Ford are claiming sector best emissions and economy. Just last week we had the first photos of the production version of the 2012 Ford B-Max, heralding the arrival of Ford’s new compact MPV at Geneva 2012, ahead of its arrival in Ford showrooms in the Summer. Now Ford are keen to let us know that the B-Max isn’t just a cleverly designed and decent-looking MPV, but it’s got the competition nailed with class-leading figures for economy and emissions.

Cadillac ATS (2012) compact exec unveiled at Detroit show

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

Cadillac took the wraps off the new compact Caddy, the ATS, at an event on the eve of the 2012 Detroit auto show. The new Cadillac ATS is essentially a BMW 3-series rival meeting all the design and engineering criteria of the larger Cadillacs. Cadillac ATS: what's new The ATS is like a baby CTS - the Art and Science design credo has been upheld, with sharp creases and pressed body surfacing to give it the Cady look.

Opel/Vauxhall teases Cascada mid-size convertible

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Opel/Vauxhall has given us a sneak peek of its new mid-size convertible, the Cascanda, which effectively replaces the Astra Twin Top. The Cascanda features a full-size fabric roof that can be opened or closed with one button up to speeds of 30mph and is the latest model to shun a folding hardtop in favor of the lighter and more practical soft option. The company claims this is its first D-segment cabrio for more than 70 years but, unlike them, we haven't forgotten the Cavialier Convertible of the 1980s (see pic).
