This is a mostly complete 283 short block assembly for 64-68 Chevrolet products. The block is dated 1966, so this set up would be perfect for many Chevy products of this era. It came out of a running driving Corvette. The entire set up is in great condition. The only things that's not, is the oil pan, it's just decent. What you see pictured is what is included with the purchase.

Pick up is preferred, but a crate can be built and I can ship it, but please contact me first if you are considering shipping it. I have a truck freight company who is quite affordable. Typically $250-$350 will get an engine anywhere in the country with the crate and shipping costs.

Chevrolet unveiled two stylish concepts at the 2012 Detroit auto show. One, the Tru 140S, was a bit of a poser -- its exotic looks belied its hypothetical low price point and its front-wheel-drive underpinnings. The boxy red Code 130R, on the other hand, had the potential to be dynamite.
