Up for auction is one 1964 through 1970 GMC Handi-Van, Bus Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 10 (ten) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1975, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1964 through 1970 GMC Handi-Van, Bus vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. The manual includes information for sheet metal, trim, steering, suspension, AC, cooling, exhaust, and other body mechanical parts. This is an original Mitchell service manual, not a reprint. According to road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), there are now more than seven million drivers over the age of 65 in the UK. The figures come from driving licence data published by the DVLA in December 2013, and show that the number of drivers over 65 reached 7,191,192 in November 2013.
Art Center College of Design - Next Lunar Rover
Fri, 27 Jun 2008Students in their fifth and sixth terms at Art Center College of Design created their visions for the 'Next Lunar Rovers' in a project sponsored by NASA. The design brief, which tasked students with designing the optimal lunar rover for the next moon mission, called for the designs to support the unique functional challenges of such a vehicle while inspiring everyone that sees it to want to go for a drive on the moon. The designs were also meant to serve as an icon to jumpstart interest of the public in lunar expeditions.
