BMW Motorrad Concept 6 (2009) unveiled

Wed, 11 Nov 2009

Yes, we know this BMW is a pair of wheels short of CAR Online’s usual offerings, but we couldn’t resist giving some space to this stunning straight six-powered BMW sports bike concept. Yes, you read that right - the BMW Concept 6 has a 1600cc straight six slung across the frame. Honda tried something similar for the CBX1000 in the 1970s but the idea never really caught on even if the true width increase over a contemporary four wasn’t as huge as your eyes would have you believe.

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

We're now three months into the CDN-GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China, and here at CDN we're excited to see some many strong entries coming in. Because there has been such a flurry of quality entries leading up to the first round deadline, we're happy to announce that the deadlines have been adjusted to allow for more students to compete for two internships with GM in China. All entries must now be received by March 1, 2013 in order to qualify for judging.

Jaguar F-Type R Coupe unveiled!

No, Callum -- 59, and broadly Scottish -- speaks like an old, tenured college professor, a living institution at an institution, as if he's trying to inspire a troubled student. "Cmon," he seems to tell us, "this is how it's done." For Callum, the F-Type Coupe has been an "emotional journey" since he started 15 years ago at Jaguar.
